• Linking has arrived! You can now easily link notes in other notes, or tasks, people in journal entries, areas, goals, and beyond – just search for any entity in the insert link dropdown of our editor

Improvements

• Creating new areas, goals, and tasks is now streamlined — all options are available from a single dropdown accessed via the large blue Add button in the desktop app
• We’ve redesigned the dropdown menu for adding new journal entries or happy memories in the desktop app's journal, as well as the dropdown for adding person notes or memories to a person’s timeline
• Dialogs for editing people's names or inserting images and links in the editor were redesigned in the mobile app too
• The Settings screen in the mobile app now includes a new “Integrations“ section
• The task estimate option previously labeled “Remaining time“ is now called “Remaining effort“
• Improved onboarding for new users in the mobile app offering a clearer introduction to Areas, Goals, and their various workflows
• Other minor visual, onboarding, and other improvements

Fixes

• Fixed an issue in the desktop app where lists would scroll to the top instead of to the moved task when moving tasks between lists or goals
• Opening a search result in the mobile app now works with a single tap — no need to dismiss the keyboard first
• Fixed an issue where jumping to notebooks from search results didn’t work, as well as jumping to an area from within one of its goals via search
• Completing a task now correctly resets any manually set progress
• Fixed an issue where recurring tasks with a future start date didn’t move to the bottom of “Later“ when originally in “Now“
