Redeeming discount codes
Got a discount code? Awesome! Just follow these steps to activate it.
1. Download Lunatask for Desktop
Go to lunatask.app/download to download Lunatask for Desktop.
Our discount codes are Paddle discount codes, so they can’t be applied in our mobile app or Mac App Store version of our desktop app.
Unfortunately, both Apple and Google require us to use their payment systems on their stores, in addition to Paddle, which is our main payment processor and used everywhere else.
For users on Mac: Please download Lunatask for Mac in DMG format from our website. You can find direct download link in the alternative download options table on our Downloads page or in the FAQ item about discounts on our Pricing page 👈
If already accidentally made the purchase via Apple: Ask Apple for a refund here. Once approved, make the purchase again using the correct app version – the checkout must open in your browser and look as shown on screenshots below 👇
Also, please don’t tell Apple the real reason you’re cancelling/asking for a refund – they wouldn’t be happy to hear they won’t get their cut of the payment. We appreciate your understanding!
2. Choose your plan
Once you have the app, head to Settings → Billing and select the plan you’d like to subscribe to. You can choose from monthly, yearly, or lifetime plans. You’ll only be able to enter your code once, but the discount will be applied on each renewal.
If you wish to go with the yearly plan, don’t forget to flip the “Annual pricing” switch above the pricing table.
3. Add the discount code
During the checkout in your browser, look for the option named “Add discount” in the left panel. Enter your code there.
4. Confirm your purchase
After applying your code, just confirm the purchase, and you’re all set! The discount will remain active for the entire duration of your subscription on your current plan.
After your purchase, Premium features will be automatically unlocked and synced across all your devices, both desktop and mobile.
