Redeeming discount codes
Got a discount code? Awesome! Just follow these steps to activate it.
1. Download Lunatask for Desktop
Go to lunatask.app/download to download Lunatask for Desktop.
Unfortunately, Apple and Google require us to use their payment systems on their stores, in addition to Paddle, which is our main payment processor and used everywhere else.
Our discount codes are Paddle discount codes, so they can’t be applied in our mobile app or Mac App Store version of our desktop app.

If already accidentally made the purchase via Apple or Google: Ask Apple for a refund here or Google here. Once approved, make the purchase again using the correct app version.
We also kindly ask you not to share the real reason behind your refund request, as they wouldn’t be happy to hear they won’t get their cut of the payment – we appreciate your understanding!
2. Choose your plan
Once you have the app, head to Settings → Billing and select the plan you’d like to subscribe to. You can choose from monthly, yearly, or lifetime plans. You’ll only be able to enter your code once, but the discount will be applied on each renewal.
If you wish to go with the yearly plan, don’t forget to flip the “Annual pricing” switch above the pricing table.
3. Add the discount code
During the checkout in your browser, look for the option named “Add discount” in the left panel. Enter your code there.
If the checkout says your code isn’t valid, try typing it manually instead of copy-pasting – we’ve seen this cause issues before. If that doesn’t help, check if the code is applicable for the chosen plan and that you’ve selected the correct plan you intended.
4. Confirm your purchase
After adding your discount code, confirm the purchase, and you’re all set! The discount will remain active for the entire duration of your subscription on your current plan.
